It handles 330 ml and 500 ml formats in both glass bottles and aluminium cans. The container handling differs between the two: bottles run on mechanical infeed while cans need their own guides and, if seaming is included, matching seamer change parts. It is designed for producers who package the same product in more than one format, or who want to test a can format without buying a second machine. Typical users are breweries already filling bottles who add cans for a specific market, and producers running limited can releases alongside a bottled core range. If you intend to run one format at high volume continuously, a dedicated machine gives higher output.

It needs power and compressed air, with a water supply if rinsing is included. One operator is sufficient for either format. Because the machine serves two container types, the format part sets for whichever container is not running have to be stored near it — having that storage arranged is what keeps a format change practical rather than a disruption. It involves changing the format parts and container guides and resetting the filling and capping settings. The changeover typically requires basic hand tools and one or two operators, with the time depending on the machine and container specifications. Because bottles and cans differ in height and diameter, the changeover should be planned as part of production.
