1.What is the difference between a manual, semi-automatic and automatic bottle filling machine?
A manual bottle filling machine fills one bottle at a time with the operator controlling the valve — suitable for pilot batches only. A semi-automatic machine with 4–10 filling heads handles roughly 100–500 bottles per hour and remains the most common choice for startups and small craft breweries. A fully automatic line adds conveyor handling, rinsing and capping and runs 500–10,000 BPH with far fewer operators. Choose by your target daily output, not by head count alone.
2.How many filling heads do I need — 4, 6, 8 or 10?
Head count follows from your target output, not the other way round. We build 4, 6, 8 and 10-head machines, and each configuration supports a different bottles-per-hour range depending on bottle size and fill volume. As a guide at 500 ml, a 4-head machine runs roughly 300–500 BPH, a 6-head 500–700 BPH, an 8-head 700–900 BPH and a 10-head 900–1,100 BPH; carbonated products sit at the lower end of each band and still products at the higher end. Tell us your bottles specification, fill volume and target bottles per hour, and we will confirm the head count that meets it without oversizing the machine.
3.Can a bottle filling machine fill carbonated beer and kombucha?
Yes. Carbonated products must be filled under isobaric (counter-pressure) conditions, because filling at atmospheric pressure drives CO₂ out of solution and causes foaming, carbonation loss and unstable fill heights. Our machines use short-tube isobaric filling with low-oxygen operation, and a mechanical level-control valve with a vent pipe holds fill heights consistent. Beer, carbonated soft drinks and kombucha all run on the same principle.
4.What bottle heights and diameters can the machine handle?
The standard range is 250–1,000 ml, covering bottle diameters of 50–90 mm and heights of 150–330 mm. Bottle dimensions are set by changeable format parts, so one machine can cover several bottle sizes instead of being locked to a single format. 5.What is a bottle rinser filler capper, and why combine them?
A bottle rinser filler capper (monoblock) performs rinsing, filling and capping in one continuous machine instead of three separate stations. Combining them removes the transfer steps between machines, which cuts manual handling and reduces the risk of re-contamination after rinsing. It also takes less floor space and needs fewer operators than three stand-alone units, which is why it is the standard configuration for automatic bottle lines.
6.Do I need a separate bottle washer with this machine?
A rinser inside the filling machine removes dust and residue from empty bottles immediately before filling. A separate bottle washer is a different machine: a larger, continuous spray unit used when bottles need heavier cleaning, or when bottles are returned and re-used. 7.How much does a bottle filling machine cost?
Price is driven by head count, bottle format, filling method and which functions you include (rinsing, capping, labelling). A single headline figure would be misleading, because the same basic machine can be specified very differently. Rather than publish a list price, we quote by configuration: the entry point is a 4-head semi-automatic machine, and the same body rises in price with head count, filling method and the functions you add. 8.What is the difference between glass bottle and PET bottle filling?
Glass bottles are rigid and can be handled mechanically, so a glass line uses a mechanical infeed and a standard rinser-filler-capper. PET bottles are lighter and deform under pressure, so a PET line uses an air conveyor for infeed, and both filling pressure and bottle support are set to avoid distortion.
