2 Head Keg Filling Machine

It fills 30–50 kegs per hour, depending on keg size and fill volume. The second filling head roughly doubles the rate of the single-head unit at the same specification, and because kegs fill in parallel the operator can prepare the next pair during the cycle rather than waiting for each keg to finish.

It handles keg sizes from 10 L to 50 L, with 60 L available as an optional maximum size. Each head takes its own adaptor set, so the two heads can be configured for the same keg type or for two different sizes — useful if you fill both 30 L and 50 L kegs in the same run. The spear coupling is matched to your keg valve type on each head. Confirm your keg mix at quotation stage so both heads are fitted correctly.

It is designed for breweries where kegging is a routine daily task and the single-head cycle rate has become the constraint. It suits mid-sized breweries and contract packers who keg a large share of output and cannot afford to have the filling station occupied for a whole shift. If kegging is still occasional, the capacity gain will not be used.

It needs power, compressed air and a CO₂ supply. Both heads purge and counter-pressure at the same time, so confirm your gas supply and pressure can hold during parallel filling. One operator is sufficient: while one head is filling, they load or unload the other, so the machine does not sit idle waiting for the operator between cycles. The keg is purged with CO₂ to displace residual air and condensate, then brought to the same pressure as the product before the fill valve opens. Filling under counter-pressure is what prevents breakout: filling into a keg at atmospheric pressure knocks CO₂ out of solution, causing foam, short fills and carbonation loss. Because the product is never exposed to air or agitated into foam, dissolved oxygen pickup stays low — which matters for shelf life in beer, cider and kombucha.
