1.What is the cleaning capacity of the cask keg washer?

It washes 30–50 casks or kegs per hour, depending on container size and on the cleaning cycle intensity selected. Cycle time is set by the required cleaning and sterilisation sequence rather than by a conveyor speed, so throughput is a function of how aggressive a cycle your product requires — a heavier cycle means fewer containers per hour.

2.What keg and cask types does it handle?

It handles 10–50 L containers, with 60 L available as an optional maximum size, covering stainless steel kegs and compatible casks. The spray pattern is configured per container type, because cask and keg geometry differ and the cleaning head has to reach the whole internal surface in each case. 3.Which production scale is it designed for?

It is designed for breweries and cideries that package in both casks and kegs, and for producers whose container mix includes traditional casks that cannot be run through a keg-only washer. It suits cask-ale producers, small breweries with a cask trade, and anyone who has been cleaning casks by hand. If you only run stainless kegs, a keg-only washer is simpler and cheaper.

4.What utilities and operators does it require?

It needs power plus hot water or steam for sterilisation, and because cleaning is a wet operation it also needs a water supply and drainage — plan the area around it as a washable wet zone rather than a dry installation. One operator is sufficient: they load each container, start the cycle and unload it when the cycle completes. Machine dimensions are listed in the Technical Specifications table on this page.

5.Can one machine handle both traditional casks and modern stainless kegs?

Yes — that is the reason this model exists. It accepts both container types through changeable adaptors, so a brewery running a cask trade alongside a keg trade does not need two washing machines. The cleaning cycle is configured per container type, because cask and keg geometry differ and the spray pattern has to reach the whole internal surface in each case. Changing between them is an adaptor and cycle change rather than a machine change.
