Single Head Keg Washer

It cleans and sanitises 20–30 kegs per hour, depending on keg size and the cleaning cycle selected. On a single-head machine one keg completes the full sequence before the next begins, so the cycle time is the throughput limit rather than a conveyor speed.

It cleans 10–50 L stainless steel kegs, with 60 L available as an optional maximum size. The head adaptor has to match your keg valve type so the cleaning head couples correctly and the spray reaches the full internal surface, and the cycle is configured per keg size because a larger keg needs longer contact time with the cleaning solution. It is designed for breweries that need a dependable, repeatable keg cleaning routine without tying up a full shift — where keg washing is part of the daily schedule but not the production bottleneck. It suits small and mid-sized breweries and brewpubs moving off manual keg cleaning. If kegs are regularly waiting for cleaning before filling, the dual-head machine removes that queue faster.

It needs power plus hot water or steam for sterilisation, and a water supply and drainage because the operation is wet. One operator is sufficient: they load each keg and start the cycle. The typical sequence is pre-rinse → alkaline cleaning → intermediate rinse → steam or hot-water sterilisation → sterile-water rinse → CO₂ purge. The sequence and cycle times are configured to your product and to local hygiene requirements. Steam or hot-water sterilisation is what provides the microbial integrity, and the final rinse and CO₂ purge remove the residual cleaning agent and condensate before the keg goes to the filler.
