2 Head Keg Washer

It cleans and sanitises 30–50 kegs per hour, depending on keg size and cycle intensity. The second washing head roughly doubles the rate of the single-head unit, and because the heads run in parallel one keg is being cleaned while the other is loaded or unloaded.

It cleans 10–50 L stainless steel kegs, with 60 L available as an optional maximum size. Each head takes its own adaptor, so the two heads can be set up for the same keg size or for two different sizes — useful if you wash 30 L and 50 L kegs in the same session. The cleaning cycle is configured per head according to the container it receives. Confirm your keg mix at quotation stage so both heads are fitted with the right adaptors.

It is designed for breweries where keg washing has become a daily bottleneck — typically when kegs are waiting to be cleaned before filling, or when washing occupies more of a shift than the filling itself. It suits mid-sized breweries and contract packers with a high keg turnover. If kegs are washed in occasional batches rather than daily, a single-head machine is the better buy.

It needs power and hot water or steam, plus a water supply and drainage. Because two kegs are being cleaned at once, water and hot water demand is higher than on a single-head unit, so confirm your supply and drainage capacity before installation. The benefit is that cleaning happens continuously rather than in single file: while one head is running its cycle, the other is being loaded or unloaded, so the machine is rarely idle. It is worth the extra cost once keg washing directly delays filling or displaces other work. If kegs are only washed in occasional batches, a single-head machine gives the same cleaning result for less.
