1.What is the throughput of the flash pasteurizer?

It is rated at 2,000–3,000 bottles per hour, with throughput set by the flow rate through the heat exchanger rather than by a package count. Because the product is pasteurised before filling, the capacity has to match the filler's demand at the moment of filling — tell us your filler output and fill volume and we will confirm the matching flow rate.

2.Which products can it treat?

It is used for liquid beverages that need microbial stabilisation before filling, including beer, cider, juice and kombucha. It is suitable for beer, cider, juice and kombucha, while highly heat-sensitive products may require a lower-temperature or otherwise customized pasteurisation profile. The applicable temperature and holding time depend on the product's heat sensitivity and on the target shelf life, so the schedule is set per product rather than applied uniformly across a range.

3.Which production scale is the flash pasteurizer designed for?

It is designed for producers where flavour retention matters and the product can be filled hygienically after treatment. It suits breweries and beverage producers who want shelf stability without the total heat load of package pasteurisation, and operations where a tunnel would not fit the line. Because it sits in front of the filler, it integrates into a continuous flow rather than treating finished packages.

4.What utilities and operators does it require?

It needs power plus steam or electric heating, and cooling water. One operator is sufficient. Because it is a compact in-line unit rather than a tunnel, it takes far less room than a package pasteuriser of equivalent throughput — but it has to sit in the flow between tank and filler, so the practical constraint is the pipe run. 5.Why choose flash pasteurisation rather than a tunnel?

The difference is total heat load. A tunnel holds filled packages at temperature for a set dwell time, so the product absorbs heat on the way up and again on the way down. A flash unit uses a high-temperature short-time cycle and cools the product before filling, so cumulative heat exposure is lower for the same microbial kill. The trade-off is that the product must then be filled hygienically, since the package itself is not sterilised. Where flavour retention is the priority, flash is the better choice.
