2.Which products and containers can it handle?

It is a batch process, so it suits products handled in discrete loads — packaged bottles or cans, or liquid product in a vessel — rather than a continuous flow. The applicable temperature and holding time are set per product according to its heat sensitivity and target shelf life, and the load configuration affects how evenly heat reaches the centre of the batch.

3.Which production scale is the sterilization pot designed for?

It is designed for low-volume and batch-based production, and for producers who need pasteurisation capability without committing to a continuous line. It suits small breweries, pilot operations, and producers running seasonal or occasional batches. Where a tunnel or flash unit would be oversized or impractical to integrate, a pot provides the same microbial result in a form that fits the premises.

4.What utilities and operators does it require?

It needs power plus steam or electric heating, and cooling water to bring each load down before unloading. One operator is sufficient. Compared with a tunnel the unit is compact, but it needs clearance for loading and unloading each batch, plus drainage and a washable floor area around it. 5.When is a batch sterilization pot the right choice?

It is the right choice when volume is small or intermittent and a continuous pasteurisation line cannot be justified. A pot lets you pasteurise a defined load and hold it for a set time, which suits pilot batches, seasonal products and operations where pasteurisation is a periodic task rather than a continuous step. The trade-off is that throughput is limited by batch size and cycle time, so it does not scale by running faster — once volume grows, a tunnel or flash unit becomes the more efficient route.
