Mexico Bottle Filling Machine Project

DESIMY recently supplied a DSM6-6 Bottle Filling and Capping Machine to Cerveceria Villacastel in Mexico. Designed for beer and other carbonated beverages, this beer bottle filling machine combines isobaric filling and bottle capping in one compact system.

The machine is designed for a production capacity of 1,000–1,200 bottles per hour, providing a suitable packaging solution for breweries looking to improve the efficiency and consistency of bottled beer production. The filling process uses pressure equalization before filling, helping maintain stable filling conditions and reduce unnecessary CO₂ loss during beer packaging.

About Cerveceria Villacastel

Cerveceria Villacastel is a Mexican brewery producing a range of beer styles, including Lager, Blonde Ale, IPA, Amber Ale, Stout, and other specialty beers. According to its official website, the brewery can produce up to 38,000 liters of beer per month and offers 11 different beer styles.

Several of its beers are available in 355 ml bottles, making reliable bottle packaging an important part of its production and product distribution.

Main Configuration

The core equipment supplied for this project is the DSM6-6 Bottle Filling and Capping Machine, configured with:

• 6 filling heads + 6 capping heads

• Capacity: 1,000–1,200 bottles/hour

• Filling method: Isobaric filling

• Filling temperature: ≤4°C

• Bottle diameter: 53–66 mm

• Bottle height: 70–175 mm

• Filling accuracy: ±5 mm

• Power: 2.5 kW

• Voltage: 415 V, 3-phase, 50 Hz

During operation, cleaned empty bottles enter the filling machine and are positioned under the filling valves. Before beer enters the bottle, pressure is equalized between the bottle and the beer tank, followed by controlled filling. After filling, the bottle is gradually depressurized and sealed through a 2-stage capping process.

This configuration gives Cerveceria Villacastel a dedicated bottle filling and capping solution for its bottled beer production.
