FAQ

1.What is the production capacity of the manual bottle filling and capping machine?

The manual machine fills and caps up to 100 bottles per hour, with the operator controlling the fill at each position. Capacity depends on operator pace as much as on the machine, which is why it is the entry point of the range rather than a production machine. Tell us your target daily output and we will confirm whether a manual machine covers it or whether the 4-head unit is the better starting point.

2.What bottle sizes can the manual machine handle?

It handles 330 ml and 500 ml glass bottles. Bottle dimensions are set by changeable format parts, so the machine can be switched between bottle sizes without being replaced. Because a manual machine is usually bought for one or two products, we specify the format parts around those specific bottles rather than a wide theoretical range. Send us your bottle drawing or a sample and we will confirm what is required.

3.Which production scale is the manual machine designed for?

It is designed for pilot batches, product trials and very small production, where output is limited by batch size rather than by filling speed. Typical users are startups validating a recipe, brewpubs with occasional bottling needs, and producers running limited edition or seasonal products. If you are bottling more than a few days a week, operator time becomes the constraint and the 4-head machine pays back quickly.

4.What utilities and operators does it require?

It needs a standard power supply for the drive; there is no conveyor, so bottles are brought to the machine by hand and packed output is taken away the same way. One operator is sufficient throughout filling. The operator positions each bottle and controls the fill directly rather than supervising a cycle, which is what sets the pace at this level. Machine dimensions are listed in the Technical Specifications table on this page.

5.What is the difference between the manual machine and a 4-head machine?

The difference is where the labour sits. On the manual machine the operator sets the pace, so output rises and falls with staffing and is hard to plan. On the 4-head machine the filler sets the pace at up to 200 bottles per hour regardless of who is on shift, and the operator supervises rather than fills. Choose manual for occasional batches; choose 4-head once bottling becomes a scheduled weekly or daily task.
